Has it gone quiet for you? During the past few we Has it gone quiet for you?

During the past few weeks have you experienced a reduction in engagement on your therapy business social media pages?

Has this knocked your confidence and made you feel like giving up?

Rest assured that during the summer months most business owners in all different sectors will be experiencing the same things - reduction in likes, comments or video views.

Remember many of your clients and followers will be spending less time online as they take their holidays, spend time with the children, or enjoy time outdoors making the most of the sunny weather.

So, what can you do during this time to keep your business visible and keep your business moving forward?

(1) Try changing the time you post during the summer months. Many of your followers will be out in the sunshine and may not check their accounts until the evening, so if you don't normally post at night - try this and see if you can reach more people.

(2) Engage - spend ten minutes a day engaging on your followers pages - comment and like their posts. This will help you to stay in their mind and when you do post they are more likely to see it.

(3) Try something new - if you have not tried posting a Reel before this could be the time to give it a try.

(4) Use this quieter period to plan amazing social media content for the rest of 2022. Think about ideas for World Reflexology Week, Christmas voucher sales or autumn/winter well-being tips. You will then be raring to go with amazing content when everyone is back online in September.

(5) Don't Worry. Please don't worry if your accounts have taken a slump, it is completely normal during the summer. Use the time to plan for the months ahead, and enjoy some time off to recharge for the busy period running up to Christmas.

Have you noticed that your social media posts have received fewer likes? πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Community 🀍 After many years of connecting onl Community 🀍

After many years of connecting online I had the pleasure of finally meeting in person the lovely Sue Hamblin.

What an incredible moment sharing our love of reflexology, supporting our clients and enjoying a fabulous lunch together @northsdeli_ashby - we could have talked all day!

Today reminded me of why I created Love Reflexology and the importance of connection and bringing together people who love this therapy.

Today has also given me a gentle nudge to go for one of my dreams for Love Reflexology and that’s to host some in-person events to inspire you in your business, to develop friendships and strengthen our community.

So, do keep an eye out as details will be shared over the coming weeks as plans are developed.

Thank you Sue for a truly wonderful day.

New Love Reflexology Directory Member I am deligh New Love Reflexology Directory Member

I am delighted to welcome @chrissysilvawebdesign as a new member of the Love Reflexology Directory.

Chrissy shares:
"I’m a web designer-turned-reflexologist recently moved from London to the Cotswolds. I enjoy the balance and variety of doing physical healing work and online creative work. I also have a rare endocrine illness which can impact my energy, so I’ve had to use technology to my advantage ensuring my two websites work hard for me and not the other way around.

It was during my reflexology training and having to research other local practitioners that I discovered many had outdated websites whilst some had no website at all, relying solely on social media as a free solution but a dangerous one as we know apps can crash and lock you out at a whim leaving you high and dry. Eek. So I decided to marry my two passions: holistic therapies + web design!

I’ve made it my personal mission to serve and empower all holistic practitioners to embrace technology using my pre-designed website templates – specifically designed for running a holistic therapy practice. They are modern, entirely customisable, and easy to manage thanks to my free course that will guide you on all things Squarespace, branding, copywriting, SEO and getting found on Google."
