Returning to the Treatment Room in France: Week 3

I just thought I would update you after three weeks back to work in the treatment room in France – it’s fine, really! Yes, it’s harder work and more cleaning/washing, but once you get into a routine, it’s okay.

The first week was the hardest and I certainly should not have booked as many clients in, but it worked and my clients were happy to be back.

Believe me, your clients will be queuing up, they need you and reflexology!

Fast forward to week three and everyone is becoming more relaxed in going out in general. They are getting used to the ‘new normal’ and any changes and, in general, realising that they are safe, and it’s okay to be out again.

Please, please do not worry or overthink the reopening when you can, follow the guidelines by your association and they will be more than adequate to support you and your clients.

Remember, we were all working right up to lockdown when the virus was extremely active and we kept ourselves and our clients safe! We now have the advantage and are in a better place, because the virus is becoming inactive and we have the guidelines in place to continue this.

I can honestly say that I feel safer working now with my clients, than I did 11 weeks ago prior to lockdown.

Start preparing but also do not worry, it seems daunting but it’s not really and once you have made the changes, the second week etc. just becomes ‘normal’ again, it’s not, it’s different, but it’s okay too.

Good luck!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.
Im in the uk and like other refexologists worried about how it will be when we first go back to doing what we passionately love to do.
    This lifted me today 🙂

  2. Thanks for sharing – I’m looking forward to going back on Monday but was worried how my clients would feel – glad you said that your clients are now feeling relaxed. Xxx
