For many years you have only been able to add one website clickable link to your Instagram profile, unless you use an external website such as Linktree, which I have done and really enjoyed using.

However, Instagram have now introduced the option to add 5 clickable website links!

To add multiple links to your profile - swipe the graphics above to discover how.

Mental Health Awareness Week This week is Mental Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and it provides us with an opportunity to talk about this important subject.

As reflexologists and business owners we wear many hats supporting our clients, producing our marketing, ordering products, cleaning the room, updating our accounts and more - and sometimes this can feel very overwhelming, especially as we work alone most of the time.

To help I have put together on the graphic some of my favourite ideas to support your mental health when running your business, and I would love to read yours too.

Feel free to put them below so we can all support each other.

P.S. And if you are not currently a member of the LR Facebook group you can send a request to join at the link in the bio and feel supported in your business. Remember you don’t need to do this alone.

Spring Clean Your Treatment Room 🧽 Everywhere Spring Clean Your Treatment Room 🧽

Everywhere is currently bursting with new life (I don’t think I have seen so much blossom before) and this presents the ideal time to spring clean your treatment room to inject new energy into the space and to make sure it is looking great for your clients.

Schedule some time over the coming days to look at your treatment room through the eyes of your client. Get on the couch or sit in the chair so you can truly see what your client does.

Check for any scuffed paint, faded blankets or towels, give the room a deep clean and remove things that you no longer use.

You may even want to give it a fresh coat of paint if you are feeling energetic and the room is looking tired.

After a good deep clean or redecoration you could also burn sage within your treatment room. Burning sage is traditionally known for dissipating negative energy and improving mood.

If you are looking for some sage Love Reflexology Directory Member @beesflyingwild has this available to purchase on their website.

You may also want to add some natural candles such as the ones from @pillowsprays to create a cosy and relaxed space to help your clients unwind, purchase an energy spray from @natureswish to spritz when your clients arrive, or update your royalty-free music such as the tracks available from Love Reflexology (available on the the website).

Any updates and changes you make will help to inject new energy into the space and give your clients a wonderful experience.

When was the last time you had a spring clean in your treatment room or gave it a makeover to inject new energy into the space?

When you qualify as a therapist you will be excite When you qualify as a therapist you will be excited and eager to support your clients.

However, having your qualification is only the beginning of running a therapy-based business and there are many other areas you will need to understand.

One area that many newly qualified therapists and those who have been in a business a while find challenging is bookkeeping and accounts.

I am therefore delighted to be hosting a live presentation with expert guest Lisa Shorthouse founder of @bartonaccountancy

Tuesday Tip If you haven’t done this already, n Tuesday Tip

If you haven’t done this already, now is the ideal time to reflect on quarter one in your reflexology business to establish what has worked and what hasn’t.

You can use this information to plan for the next part of 2023.

Dedicate some time this week to explore the below:

Did you achieve the goals you set at the start of the year? If not did you make progress on them?

What are you proud of in the first quarter? What elements of your business went well? (Don’t forget to celebrate your hard work).

What lessons can you learn from quarter one? What could you do differently? Think about how you can use this information during the rest of the year to help you reach your goals?

What do you want to do less of in quarter two?

What do you want to do more of?

What has made you happy within your business?

What are your goals for quarter two? What do you want to achieve? Make sure you write your goals down, with actionable and achievable steps.

Taking time out to reflect, review and plan will really help you to grow your business and achieve the things that you want to.

Save this post for when you are ready to work through the above questions, and let me know how you get on.

Kelly

P.S.
If you haven’t done so already, it is a great time to make sure your accounts are up-to-date. Having your numbers to hand will help you to assess quarter one fully.
