Tuesday Tip Would you like to boost the reach of Tuesday Tip Would you like to boost the reach of your Instagram content and get your reflexology business noticed? Here’s what has helped meπŸ‘‡ to boost my accounts. Before you post your content, take time to engage and interact on other people’s content. I know it sounds cheesy, but social media is about being social and this does make a difference. I usually spend 10 minutes adding comments to posts, replying to comments on my posts, replying to messages in my inbox, as well as viewing and engaging on Stories. After I have done this, I then post my content and it makes a big difference to the reach my post receives. Try this next time you post and see if it helps your content to get noticed! Kelly Bonus Tip: Set the alarm on your phone for ten minutes when you are engaging on other people’s content, this will help you to avoid failing down the social media rabbit πŸ‡ hole! Let’s face it, we’ve all done this!
Happy 7th Birthday to the Love Reflexology Faceboo Happy 7th Birthday to the Love Reflexology Facebook Community πŸ₯³ Back in 2017, I remember starting the Facebook group, wondering if anyone would want to connect. To be honest, I felt lonely running my reflexology business @kelly_hainsworth in Leicestershire and I craved connection with like-minded business owners and people who understood why I love this treatment as much as I do. I also wanted to support other reflexologists within their businesses and share steps and ideas that helped me to grow the client base I had achieved. Fast-forward to 2024 and the Facebook community has over 6,200 members and over 9,500 followers on Instagram - all coming together to support each other. I love the connections, the support, the sharing of ideas, and feeling part of a community that love reflexology as much as I do - I no longer feel lonely within my work. I also feel blessed that I have had the opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with several members of the community to help them achieve their individual goals. Thank you for choosing to work with me. Email Unsubscribes Have you ever experienced that Email Unsubscribes Have you ever experienced that sinking feeling when you hit send on your email newsletter, after spending time producing beautiful content and then someone unsubscribes? It can feel hard not to take it personally (yes, I have felt it too), and you may wonder, did I do something wrong? Do they not like me? However, when you receive an email unsubscribe, it can actually be a positive thing for your business, and here’s why: (1) It will provide you with an indication of what content is and isn’t working for your audience - so you can make any necessary adjustments; (2) If you feel your content was great and the overall engagement was high for everyone who opened your email, the people who unsubscribed were clearly not your audience any more (and that’s okay); (3) The more people you have on your list (whether they open your email or not) may cost you money. Therefore, if they unsubscribe this can actually save your business money. Save this post, so the next time this happens to you - you can be reminded of these super positives. I also have a new mentoring option which I will be launching in September and I am so excited to share this with you. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has worked with me this summer and to all the therapists who have booked a 1:1 package for the coming months, I cannot wait to work with you all. Community Question πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ Community Question πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ At the beginning of the month, I invited the community to ask their business questions on Instagram Stories, and the great question shown in the image was asked by a member. Which marketing method is the best one to use for attracting new reflexology clients? This is such a great question, thank you for sharing it. After working as a reflexologist since 2009 @kelly_hainsworth, I would say that to attract new reflexology clients to your business requires a marketing plan that does not rely on just one method. It requires a strategic approach using multiple methods, using both digital marketing and more traditional marketing methods. For example, to attract reflexology clients to my business, I use the following methods: My website; SEO (Search Engine Optimisation); Google profile; Instagram; Facebook; LinkedIn; Email marketing; Blogging; Professional membership listings, which appear online; Partnerships; Business cards; Postcards; Word-of-mouth recommendations; Gift vouchers; Shopping locally; Attending local events; Presenting talks to local groups. If you rely on just one marketing method for example, Facebook, this could be problematic, for example if your page was hacked and removed, you would have no other ways to market your business. Also, you may be limiting your marketing reach, as not everyone uses Facebook. I continually use a variety of marketing methods and they work together beautifully to attract new reflexology clients and welcome back clients who may not have visited the treatment room for a while. So, my advice would be, create a marketing plan where you use a variety of methods and use them to connect with your target audience to grow you business. Your methods may be different to mine depending on your target audience and business goals, but variety is definitely the key to creating a busy diary.
